The 3008 is a 'crossover' and doesn't fall into a traditional vehicle category such as hatchback or MPV. Peugeot have used their short wheelbase platform 2 - to give rigidity and excellent acoustic and viration properties. Although there is nearly 50 ltrs of space the weight has been kept to minimum to reduce fuel consumption and running costs. By adapting this approach Peugeot have created an excellent all round vehicle, designed to suit any lifestyle.
Two new Technology systems will feature in the 3008:
A Head Up Display will convey essential information such as vehicle speed, cruise control/speed limiter. A Distance Alert uses a radar to help the driver maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front.
Peugeot are also developing HYbrid 4 technology - the 3008 will be the first vehicle equipped with this. More news to follow later this year, bookmark this page to keep track of any updates. |
