Peugeot are the 2009 Le Mans Champions!
On June 13th & 14th, Team Peugeot Total won the 24 hour Le Mans with the 908 V12 HDi FAP completing over 380 laps. The race was very intense throughout, with the Safety Car coming out for 2 hours and 42 minutes altogether but Peugeot's prototype held true to finish in 1st and 2nd place!
Speaking after Peugeot's resounding victory on Sunday 14th June, David Brabham said: "All the drivers have been incredible. It’s fantastic to win this race. Yet to win you need good preparation, and Peugeot has prepared very well."

The No 8 car, driven by Stéphane Sarrazin, Franck Montagny and Sébastien Bourdais had provided an unbeatable rearguard protection, closely following the No 9 car in second position.

Yet Audi were not giving up easily, with their No I car challenging the two Peugeots until the 21st hour. But the Peugeots held on tight, and the 908 HDi FAP No 8 car easily took second place, leaving Audi trailing in third place - six laps behind Peugeot‘s winning No 9 car.

The Le Mans victory is testament to Peugeot's continued commitment to the development of HDi technology. To view our latest offers - click here
