What technology comes with the Fiat Tipo?

Fiat Tipo features a range of safety technology to improve your driving experience on your journeys, including lane control, speed assist, attention assist and traffic sign recognition. The system will provide warnings and notifications on the instrument panel if you move out of your lane unintentionally, you exceed the speed limit or the system detects the initial signs of fatigue. The Fiat Tipo’s safety warnings are also accompanied by Autonomous Emergency Braking to help avoid potential impact, helping to keep you safe and comfortable on the road.

Is the Fiat Tipo a Hybrid?

Fiat Tipo is also available in a range of engines so you can take on any adventure. Choose from the new mild hybrid powertrain or the dynamic petrol powertrain. Fiat Tipo hybrid offers a new way to drive, with the 130 hp 1.5L GSE T4 engine paired with a 48-volt electric motor. Unlike plug in hybrid models, the Fiat Tipo’s battery charges while the car is in use and does not require access to the power grid. The hybrid model still allows you all the benefits of driving electric including reduced fuel consumption, instant acceleration, a smoother ride and quieter Stop & Go.
