When you have found the right used vehicle online, you want to be sure that the vehicle will be available for you to buy when you visit our dealership. At Robins & Day, we make it fast and easy to reserve a used car online, leaving you secure in the knowledge that it will NOT be sold before you get chance to see it. Not only can you browse all of our current used car stock on our website, clicking the "Reserve It Now" button enables you to reserve the vehicle for 5 days in only a few clicks.

Reserve

  • Search for a used car on our website
  • Click the "Reserve It Now" button next to the desired vehicle
  • You'll be asked to pay a fully refundable £99 fee
  • Then a payment confirmation email will be sent directly to you

Drive

  • The vehicle is now reserved for 5 days only
  • Your dealer will make contact within 24 hours to arrange an appointment and test drive
  • Now it's time to complete your test drive - enjoy!

Buy

  • If you like the car, you can continue with your purchase and your reservation fee will be refunded in full
  • Wasn't your cup of tea? No worries, we'll refund your reservation fee in full

How long is my vehicle reserved for?

We will reserve the vehicle for you for 5 days from the date when payment of your reservation fee is confirmed by email.

Can I reserve a vehicle at one dealership and test drive it at another Robins & Day dealership?

You must attend a test drive at the location of the vehicle as displayed on our website. Robins & Day does not transfer reserved vehicles between dealerships.

How do I pay the refundable reservation fee and how much is it?

After clicking “Reserve It Now”, you will be taken to the payment page where you are asked to confirm your personal and card details. Then click the "Confirm Payment" button to proceed with the reservation, which is a fee of £99.

Who handles your Reservation Fee payment?

We use Stripe - a safe, approved and trusted payments service to manage the Reservation Fee transaction, so that you can reserve your car online safely and securely. To find out more about Stripe, go to www.stripe.com.

Do ‘Robins & Day’ store any of my credit/debit card information?

Robins & Day do not view or store credit card information. Your card details are proceeded by Stripe, a PCI level 1 compliant service provider. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using Stripe’s authenticated payment system for your security and peace of mind.

What happens if I decide I do not want the vehicle?

Wasn’t your cup of tea? No worries, we’ll refund your reservation fee in full. You can cancel the reservation at any time, and we will refund the £99 in 3-5 working days. To cancel, simply contact the dealership where the vehicle is located, just have to hand your reservation number, name and the vehicle you have reserved to help us identify you.

Is the reservation fee used as part of my deposit?

No, the reservation fee is only used to secure the vehicle. Once you make a decision on the vehicle, we will refund the reservation fee and the vehicle purchase will continue as usual as a separate transaction.

How long does the reservation fee refund take to process?

You can cancel the reservation at any time, and we will refund the £99 in 3-5 working days. To cancel, simply contact the dealership where the vehicle is located, just have to hand your reservation number, name and the vehicle you have reserved to help us identify you.
