From 2019, we welcomed the manufacturer-owned retailer GO Vauxhall into the Robins & Day family. The integration has brought additional locations across London and the South East of England, extending the choice available to our customers.
Each of our sites have dedicated electric vehicle specialists to give you all the information you need when switching to electric. Each site has dedicated charging stations and an array of exciting zero emission cars & vans to choose from.

Our History and Heritage
The Robins and Day group was founded in 1913, when two bicycle businesses run by Mr Robins and Mr Day were incorporated. The company then became part of the Rootes Motor Company, selling Hillman Humber, Singer and Sunbeam models before later adding Talbot and then Peugeot in 1960.
In 1970, the dealerships became a wholly owned subsidiary of Peugeot Motor Company PLC and held the Peugeot franchise exclusively until 2016. From 2016 Robins & Day joined with The Citroen Retail Group, introducing the Citroen and DS brands, and start the next chapter in the company’s rich history.
The Citroen Retail Group started around 30 years ago, with a small number of prominent Citroen dealerships in prime locations. This helped establish the brand in markets such as Manchester, Birmingham and London. It also allowed Citroen to create dedicated business and fleet centres for those large market areas and grow that side of its business, especially where the LCV market was concerned, which has always been a stronghold for the Citroen Brand.
The Citroen Retail Group expanded during that period and were operating 13 dealerships by 2015. Robins and Day took over the day-to-day running of the Citroen Retail Group in 2010, with the aim of amalgamating processes and standards, raising customer satisfaction and encouraging employees to move freely between the different parts of the business. This has been extremely successful over the past few years, and now the rebranding of the entire Robins and Day Group is a natural evolution of this approach. Now, The Citroen Retail Group has become fully integrated into Robins and Day, and all Citroen and DS models are sold under the Robins and Day banner, alongside Peugeots.
Robins & Day has continued to grow, and in 2019 welcomed GO Vauxhall into the group, growing the dealership network across London and the South East of England. The Vauxhall sites have become incorporated and rebranded with the Robins & Day logo, which has been re-designed to coincide with the joining of Vauxhall. The new logo incorporates the PSA Retail branding, which encompasses all 4 of the PSA manufacturer owned brands.
The result is vehicle franchise locations nationwide, providing customers with better accessibility to a larger choice of vehicles and Robins & Day dealerships.

Over the past five years, Robins and Day has been investing in a multi-million pound programme to transform its Peugeot, DS and Citroen dealerships, maximising their visual appeal and providing a more enjoyable and modern environment for our customers. This strategy is intended to provide the best possible experience for our customers and is set to carry on into the foreseeable future, as the Robins and Day Group continues to establish itself as one of the leading motor retailers in the UK.
