Leapmotor has revealed that its comprehensively equipped T03 is now the most affordable new car on sale in the UK for retail customers, starting from just £12,995 OTR, including its enhanced, industry-first LEAP-GRANT*.
To celebrate the first anniversary of the LEAP-GRANT*, which was launched before the UK Government's own Electric Car Grant (ECG) scheme, the brand is doubling the size of its contribution for retail T03 customers from the 1st of July to £3,000, making the T03 the most affordable new car of any fuel type for UK buyers.

While other cars in the segment might come close on price, they don’t compare when it comes to the level of technology and specification we offer on the T03 as standard”
The T03 is a fun-to-drive compact hatchback that delivers B-segment space and practicality at an A-segment price. Featuring a great value price, compact exterior dimensions, a spacious interior, and five-door practicality, the T03 has up to 165 miles of range (WLTP) and offers DC charging.
The T03 is also packed with premium features as standard, such as a panoramic sunroof, adaptive cruise control, rear parking camera with sensors, keyless start, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system that offers seamless smartphone connectivity. Other standout equipment includes the LED headlamps with a distinctive daytime running light signature, 15-inch alloy wheels, and a body-colour finish for the door handles.
The electric motor develops a maximum power of 70kW (95hp) and a maximum torque of 158Nm; the T03 also benefits from several driver modes, including ECO, COMFORT, and SPORT. An incredibly tight turning circle of 9.7 metres makes the T03 ideally suited to tight city streets, while its 50/50 weight distribution offers engaging and balanced driving dynamics.
Furthermore, it benefits from 10 state-of-the-art ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) usually only seen on larger and more expensive vehicles. Included in this comprehensive suite of systems is Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Traffic Jam Assist (TJA), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Blind Spot Detection, and Forward Collision Warning (FCW) with Automatic Emergency Brake (AEB).
