Built to revolutionise the way we think about the everyday large hatchback, the new Citroen Cxperience concept car with brand new body style is set to be unveiled at next week’s Paris Motor Show.

The super advanced, plug-in hybrid vehicle boasts bold lines, generous curves and an iconic new shape. It’s set to completely shake up Citroen’s distinctive style and revamp the large hatchback market.

Be Different, Feel Good

In keeping with the brand’s motto ‘Be Different, Feel Good’, the concept design embodies this ethos inside and out. From the outside, the fresh new design showcases a brand new style front end grill and updated signature headlights for a sleeker, much more dynamic appearance. The rear end is equally impressive and has iconic strongly marked wings and newly improved aerodynamics, thanks to the shape of the concave rear window. The sea green exterior is sure to turn heads on the streets thanks to the unique pearlescent shimmer.

The interior is just as impressive with a zingy, energetic citrus theme. Seats are upholstered in a padded-effect yellow mesh fabric and made from premium materials for the most comfortable ride. The body hugging seats provide comfort and support as they’re made from a luxurious memory foam fabric, to make every journey a friendly and relaxing experience when you sink in to the wide seats in both the driver and passenger sides.

Citroen Advanced Comfort Technology

Brightness, space, ergonomics and connectivity are all part of Citroen’s advanced comfort programme. With this in mind, Citroen developed the Cxperience concept in order to contribute to the driver’s wellbeing in both body and mind. All aspects of design focus heavily on ensuring driver comfort, filtering out the bumps and dips of the road with expert technology. Wide windows and two sunroofs means there’s plenty of natural light getting in the vehicle, prioritising driver wellbeing when behind the wheel.

Ultimate Convenience 

Citroen understands that whilst being so comfortable drivers are not going to want to struggle to access any of the innovative connectivity features. That’s why all the digital features are cleverly placed to ensure your safety whilst driving and they’re also easy to use. As well as the 19” rectangular touch screen there are amazing added connectivity features, like the ability to be able to open the gate from a distance and receive home deliveries, integrated into the design.    

Ultimate Visibility + Connectivity

Visibility is a priority and rear view vision is 360 degrees thanks to conventional wing mirrors being replaced by discreet side cameras. These send photographs to small digital screens on the inside wall panels to make manoeuvring easier and safer. Passengers can also benefit from the ultimate in convenience with a tablet in the back for occupants to be able to adjust the seats and the air conditioning, as well as providing access to sharable media.
